Thread: Birth look up please

Would be really grateful if someone could check two births for me please. Daisy Winifred Cork 1884 and Daisy Rosina Kimber 1888 as all the names are familiar. I can see them on freebmd but don't know which is mine and wonered if someone else could glean any more info for me. Many thanks.

Hi Jeuel, My grandfather Daniel Cork (of infamous fame) had several daughters with his first wife Olive, and I always thought Daisy was the last one. To give myself a break from Daniel for a few minutes, I thought I would look up Daisy's marriage(s) - she had three - but was struggling. I suddenly was struck with the thought that she may have been his daughter by his next wife/partner, Louisa Kimber and, lo and behold, I have two Daisys both with family middle names!!!! Arrrgghh! Is nothing simple?

1891 census would have the family, so you could go on Daisy's age and the registration district to decide which is yours. If you want me to look it up, tell me which town/county.

Golly! Neither of them are mine! Not another missing relative? I know Daisy existed because I met her as a child and I have photos. What is wrong with this family at all??? Thank you Helen. Looks like another search I have to make. Very grateful
