I would start my trying to trace your parents marriage details. if you can find that you can buy marriage certiifcate(£7 if in uk) which would give fathers name and occupation . that might help to narrow things down a bit. irish research is always difficult. 1911 dublin census might help if you have her fathers name.

I assume your parents are deceased or in no contact. Is there anyone you can ask who might have more info eg to narrow down the timeframe of when or where they married.

could they have married in ireland. do you know what area of the country they lived or died in. any snippets might help to find the marriage ( or death certificates) and thus find their parents before them.
