Thread: 1851 & 1841 Census dilema

Hi, I have found the Skitt line of my family through all of the census's but there is no record of them in the 1851 & 1841 Census. Another enthusiast has said he has found them under Scitt and his results seem to be a very good match but when I do the search they are not there, can anyone shed light on this.



There should be:

Henry Skitt

Emma Skitt

Eliza Skitt

Maria Skitt

Hannah Skitt

Sarah Skitt

Emma Skitt

Hi Dan, well they arent jumping out yet.



On the 1871 census it states that Henry was born Wolverhampton Staffs and Emma Wednesbury Staffordshire. I'll have another look later unless someone can find them in the meantime

Is this the marriage?

If it is then Henry and Emma wouldnt be on the 41 or 51 census as a married couple so it would help if we knew from the marriage cert who the fathers were.

This is the nearest for Emma Millington I can find..no father though!
