Hi I am searching for Rene Martin daughter of Reginald Martin and Ann Hopkins.

Ann Hopkins parents were George Hopkins and Elizabeth MacDonald

I believe Reginald was born 1903 in Epping

Are Epping and Romford close to each other???

Both Romford and Epping are in Essex. I would say that they are about 30 miles apart. The only thing is, Epping has about 50 miles of forest. My figures may not be exact but I ahve lived near both.



Have you any idea when Reginald and Ann married ?

Sorry Starlight I have no idea. I have photos but no dates of anything else. I would hazzard a guess at 1930's.

Elizabeth MacDonald is my grandfathers sister and she was born in NZShe was a stewardessFor Union Steam Ship Company and George was captain of coastal vessell mouse.

Their children would be born between 1900 and 1910 ,so maybe if Ann got married about 20 years of age It may be about 1927 or later. I am guessing her birth year was about 1907 because she and Mum corresponded,hence the photos.....
