Thread: Tryphena

Hi trying to find the maiden name or marriage info of Tryphena baker married to john Baker listed in the 1841 census.

Tryphena married Thomas Ellerby in 1844 and then married Charles Shaw in 1850 she died approx 1881 in wadsley sheffield asylum

Its the baker connection I am after. She lived most of her life around the Ferrybridge/Nottingley/ponterfract area.

My reletive was her son Robert Ellerby who lived in sheffield as a policeman

Have you seen this marriage on the igi? I looked for Tryphena on the census' and saw she was born in Barnstone Notts, this marriage took place in Stathern Leics which is only about 5miles form Barnstone. The marriage has been submitted (not extracted from a parish register) it may be worth investigating.



John Baker born about 1811 to Typhena Morrill.



12th Jul, 1836. Stathern Leicester.

The christening record for the above Tryphena.



Tryphena Morrill, 4th Nov 1810, Langar cum Barnston, Notts.
