Thread: Help finding James Manquet

I need help finding the birth of James Manquet in England possibly Dartford area please about 1840.

I assume this is the James Manquet who died 1889 in Islington, giving age roughly in line with birth in 1840?



His birth isn't on Ancestry, but he might have been mispelled or misindexed. Or, at that early date, it is possible he wasn't registered.

The James Manquet in question could be the one who died in Islington but have no proof yet. It is possible that James was born James Mankey and changed his surname but I can't prove that either.
