Thread: AVERAGE AGE(S) OF MARRIAGES (EARLY 20th CENTURY)

Can someone please direct me to a site where I can find what the average age of marriage was, say from about 1910 (+/-) onwards ?



With a little luck, this could perhaps assist me in narrowing down a marriage search.

I am sure there are sites with this info, you could try googling. Possibly the ONS (Office of National Statistics).



But as a rough and ready idea I'd say most of my lot married between the age of 20 and 40, most of them 25-30.
