william ernest birtwistle born 6th june 1907, 16 mill row, rawtenstall,lancashire,parents elizabeth mccormick born 1880 cheshire hyde, father william worswick birtwistle, there marriage 8th december 1906,the parish church rawtenstall,(have marriage certificates for parents and birth for william, )think he dropped the ernest?sent for a marriage certificate for him turned out to be wrong,want to know who or if he married,

To narrow down the possible time frame - did he have any children if so when was the oldest one born ? Of course if he did have children then their B/C would give you the mothers name and therefore you could be more certain of finding the right marriage

Here is that reference - marriage Haslingden 8e 312 Sep quarter 1929 William Birtwistle spouse name Trickett. But not the only William Birtwistle Haslingden around at the time.
