Thread: James Chappell Family 1841

In 1841 James is shown with wife Mary Ann and children Emma 20,Henry 9,Josia 5 and Mary Ann 1.I can't find a marriage for James and Mary Ann but it is possibly Warwick since that is where Mary Ann indicated she was born in the 1851 census and is where Emma was christened 16 Jun 1821.

There seems to be too big a gap between Emma and Henry for no other children.Is there some way to check if they had children who died at birth or at an early age?A problem is that Emma was born in Warwick and Henry was born in Southwark,London.Where was the family during those years?

Maria is probably married - marriage June quarter 1838 St Mary Newington 4 348 - possible spouses William James Morling, Joseph Phillips, John Rogers, James White

The IGI shows that Maria married William James Morlong 29 Apr 1838 at St Peter Walworth Surrey.
