Thread: Charles Coughlin/McCrea look up please

Hi



I am trying to find the birth of my grandfathers half brother Charles(charlie) Coughlin i know he was born around Enniskillen about 1899 his mother was a Mary Jane fitzsimmons born 21 nov 1869 and all i know about his father is his name Nicholas Coughlin i got this from marys death certificate i cant find him either but he must of died before 1902 as mary was a widow and maried a Robert John McCrea in Glasgow where they spent the rest of their lives. I know charlie changed his name to McCrea but changed the spelling to McCrae to make it less Irish. I have tried looking in Ireland and Scotland incase Mary and Nicholas lived there but have had no sucess.

Thanks for that i was not sure if i had enough info as i tryied emerald ancestors. And i could not find him i will give this a try my Irish ancestors are driving me mad and i seem to have plenty of them lol

Emerald Ancestors only covers Northern Ireland. I feel very fortunate in having absolutely no Irish ancestors!
