Thread: Ernest Henry William Brown

Hello

I am trying to find details of my wife's father who served in the Black Watch

about 1944 serving as a cook near Kilmarnock, his name was Ernest Henry William Brown, he was about 19 years old and came from Great Yarmouth, he later married a young lady from Kilmarnock and later returned to Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.

This is all the details I have.

Can anyone help please?

If he married in Scotland after 1932 the index nor the image for the marriage will be available online with Scotland's People.

Thanks for a very prompt reply, will have to try a seach for her Mothers

details now and perhaps we can get somewhere.

The reason for this search is my wife's mother diied when she was 5 years old from TB and we did not have contact with her family for over 50 years but

last week went to Kilmarnock, Scotland, and found her mothers sister and other relations my wife was realy pleased.

This is a great site.
