Hi Pettican,
Have you tried looking in the links and tips forum. Enter Ireland in the search engine at the right hand side of the forum.
Hi this is a very good site but the sad part is it is a pay to view site. It cost €5 ago to see the records but you can search for free once you registered. You can some times be lucky and work out the records you want from them if you know parish & townland too. At the moment the LDS are in the process transcribbing all irelands birth records and should be on line very soon.

Thanks
emeraldancestors for Northern Ireland - again a pay site but there is a thread on the help offered forum. Don't forget the IGI - you could be lucky

Sorry I should have been more specific. I'm searching for ancestors in Donegal. More specifically the O'Donnell family who lived in the small village of Lergynasearhagh. On this useful website I think I have managed to find part of the family:
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~donegal/1901Lergynasearhagh.htm
They are listed as the 3rd household as you will see. I'm trying to find out if the Winifred O'Donnell you see listed as married to Patrick O'Donnell was originally called Winifred Boyle.
The problem is that the village is so small, only 7 houses, that I'm having trouble finding info let alone a few pics of the village.
