Thread: death index look-up nottinghamshire

we cannot find a birth record for this child and i have been advised to try the death index. this child would have been born last half of 1948 so could someone please check the death index for the same period as this child would have been possibly days or weeks old if it had died. nottinghamshire mothers name: mary hale nee shipman. we do not have a name or sex of the child. any help appreicated

Nothing matching your names and dates. Was Mary Ann definitely married at this date as there is a Shipman birth which looks possible
