Sorry Chris, don't think he's yours
Name: Jacob Hahn Estimated Birth Year: abt 1820 Age: 35 Voyage Arrival Date: 30 May 1855 Vessel Name: Peru Origin Location: Endersbach, Wurtemberg
Thank-you Slizzy was so excited , ah well back to drawing board
but ty for your help xxxx
I checked on Convictions for both the ship Champion of the Seas and Jacob Hunn. Found the ship that sailed from Liverpool to Melbourne but alas no passenger list. And I could not find Jacob Hunn on any passenger lists. I thought he came here as a convict and not as an assisted immigrant and from what I can see the Champion of the Seas was not a convict ship on the 1861 voyage. It was in 1854 but not in later trips. I also checked with the Victorian register of passengers sailing from Victoria to Sydney and could not find him there either. Same goes for the NSW Assisted Immigrants, could not find him on there either. This website for the State Archives has all the online indexes including the assisted immigrants for NSW.

Thank you Kate ive been searching for years lol he is a mystery .
No he was according to what you so kindly sent me convicted of theft at Glenfell 22 july 1868 released oct 1869 with another man Samuel Cookman
He would have been in NSW around that time . only thing strange is arriving on that ship 1860-1 as you said no record but of it making trip to England only.
