Thread: Sarah Ann Pettican

Hi,



I have a Sarah Ann Pettican (her maiden name was Fisher) born in 1853 in Deptford, Kent. She married my great-great grandfather William Pettican and they married in 1869 in Lexden. However I cannot seem to find when she died. I have her last know residence in 1901 at living in West Bergholt, Essex and have seen a photo of her dated roughly 1910.



Could anyone help assist me on this. She lived in West Bergholt most of her life as her husband and 10 children all grew up there and of course was there in 1901.

Hi - thats what I thought although the dates don't quite add up by a few years. It's certainly the closest I can find too - thanks.

The Sarah Ann Pettican (Fisher) in our family seems to definitely have been born in 1853 in Deptford, it's on a lot of the census - yet its strange that when I look on freebmd there is no record of a Sarah Ann Fisher having been born in 1853 at all.

there these births for a Sarah Ann Fisher between 1850-1852 in Kent.. sorry my geography of the area is next to nothing I am afraid..
