Thread: Rutherford family parish records

Hi pls cld you look up parish records for Titus Rutherford b1810/11 Stepney, Kent, also I am trying to find his marriage to Mary Ann i think they were married in Tynemouth Northumberland, as all of their children were born their and it only gives Rutherford as surname for both parents, i have tried for 2 nights to find them but with no luck, maybe one of you good people might have some luck. Thank you so much

Sharron - I don't think you will find this marriage online - the relevant years for Tynemouth are not on the IGI.

If they were married in Tynemouth I could look it up for you at the end of next week.

You could of course buy one of the younger children's birth certificate to get Mary Ann's maiden name and Titus' father.

Have you got them on 1841? If not I will post the details.

Hi Gillian and Chris thank you for reply, just came online, eldest child Sarah Ann b1833, have found all children on parish records for baptism also son peter alexander death, at what age were they allowed to marry in the 1830's, some of the children have Dawson in their name so was wondering maybe Mary Ann (mother) might be her surname.
