Hello again No i have not done that as i don't know the names of the schools, i was just wondering if there was maybe a list of schools in india around 1900. I am still trying to find info on my family and figured maybe i could get a lead that way. I will do that now maybe i will find something. Thank you

You don't say who you are looking for, but its possible they were sent home to England to school if the family were well-off. Or they may have had a private tutor or governess.

The family name is D'erf wheeler the male side of the family used lansdowne D'erf wheeler and the only D'erf wheeler i have found so far is a doctor percy D'erf wheeler who was raised in india by an aunt i am hoping there is a connection there

Not sure what you mean by "used Lansdowne". Whenabouts was Percy a doctor? Did he practice in India?
