Thread: Ammie Todd

Hello,



Can anyone help me, I have the birth certificate of my grandad (well possibly) and listed is the name of his mum (Ammie Todd nee Proctor) and dad (George Todd - Coal Miner). I have tried looking up Ammie and cannot find her listed anywhere, I have the address as 38 North Tyne Street, Gateshead.



Can anyone help please?

Can you give me a date to work from??

My grandad was born 29th July 1902 in Shotley Bridge and is regsitered in gateshead. I am only guessing she was about 20 when she had him, The only details I have are her name was Ammie Todd nee Proctor 38 North Tyne Street, Gateshead and gt Grandad was George Todd and a Coal Miner. Thats all I have to go on i'm afraid any help you can offer would be brilliant

Sorry to say that after numerous searches I can't come up with a marriage for George Todd and Ammie(?) Proctor. Haven't been able to pinpoint either on the 1901 Census either...

The dates right, it was registered in Gateshead which is close to Shotley Bridge where he was born, it's the only one that's listed for that date so i'm hoping yes it is.
