    Transcribed as Jon (should be John) Warrener, 55, dob c1786, living in Kirby Moorside.



    In subsequent censuses he is a farmer.

    That was very quick! Thanks very much Raven & Light. It could well be couldn't it! I was trying to link his 1841 occupation in with something to do with farming. He is a farmer of 63 acres in the next census.

    Could he have been a Sawyer at that time, clearing the area where he would eventually farm??

    I guess it's possible. Difficult for me to investigate from here though. I've put it down in me book as something to look into next time I visit little old England.
