woo that all looks good to me how did you find them? could be possible that she was known as Margaret not Mary Ann then that could be her and looks like may have a lead on Johns wife her mother. Thank you for your time and help will add all this to my tree

    thanks again jean

Basingstoke i think is the right place and on checking the marriage certificate i have for them it says Daniel was a brewer so it must be them, also she was 19 in 1850 when they was married.

Jean I'd be very careful about adding this info to your tree - I wouldn't take it at face value without trying to back some of the info up. You want to be sure you have the people after all.

Do you have any of the BC for her children - If not getting one ( for the oldest child maybe ) might tell you what her full name was..

Not forgetting of course it could just be a simple case of mis-transciption

another thought for MArys PArents - as she was born around 1830 her birth wont be on the bmd index but she might have had older siblings that were...

There are a few BULPIT births after 1837 in Basingstoke..

As she didn't get married until 1850 - might be worth trying to find her on the 1841 census - she might be with her parents and siblings

    Good Luck
