Thread: George Taynton 1800 - help to find

I am new to this site and I am currently stuck on my family tree, i cannot find any info on George Taynton who was born 1800-5 and died 1840, he was married to Sarah Anne. Both from Glos. Could anyone help me find this or tell me how i can get past this milestone. I want to find out about their parents, brothers and sisters (if any).

i have checked all the deaths for george, and i think i may have found it.

I checked where newport s was and its very close to glocester, so im guessing its him as its the only one that comes close to what you asked.

Hello Kelly, thank you for your help, looking at the info you have given me it correctly connects to my family tree, the only problem i have now is Sarah and George had 3 sons, John being one of them and i cannot find any details of sarah and Georges parents or grandparents, where would i be able to find the info.

Could i ask what george and sarahs other childrens names were? and was they born before John? as finding the others might shead some light on george and sarah.

To find info on george and sarah you would need to look at parish records,

you could try familysearch, but i must say i did look through it for george and maybe a possible marriage without coming up with anything.

So i think maybe finding the other children might help a touch.

Hello, Kelly sorry i have not replied have had lots of medical and techical problems which have stopped me from logging in.

In reply to your last post George and Sarah Annes' children were Thomas (Born 1824), Edwin (Born 1828) and John (born 1832). Edwin is the link that we have been following basically because he is the only one we can get anything on. On speaking to older relatives who have been try to find out ancestors they came up to a block on a records which they cannot get past, i can not think why there would be a block unless there was a murder (or murderer), may be they were part of a political group.
