Hiya
I've made a visit to our local library to search their records while there i found some of my relatives in the electrol rolls. Each person had letters at the side of their names depending on how they qualified for the electrol rolls. R = Residence Qualification, O = Occupation qualification, NM = naval or military qualification etc.
Most of the men that i found had R O at the side. 3 of the men had NM, in later years after the war they all just had an R. Does anyone know if this meant they didn't work for a living because there was no O.
thanks
nikki
