Thread: Selina Jessie Chitty

I've found Selina getting married but I've got 2 surnames... does anyone know if I can find out which one she married without sending for a marriage certificate? ... I'm broke & curious...

The men were:-

George Ernest Carpenter

Albert Edward Dedman

the marriage was Q1 1909 in South Stoneham, Southampton area

It looks as though you will have to get the marriage certificate. If she had any childen they will have been born before 1912 unless she had married before. I can see no children born after 1912 with the surname Carpenter or Dedman to a mother with the maiden name of Chitty.

Unfortunately records prior to Jan 1912 do not show spouses surnames to confirm your query.

Do you know if Selina had any children and I will try to help
