Thread: Please, can anyone help with lookup at Somerset Archive?

Please bear with me as I only joined Ancestry Aid recently and this is my first posting on this forum.



Ancestors on my Father’s side came from Somerset & Wiltshire and possibly the nearby counties. My immediate problem concerns getting good, reliable confirmation from Chard’s Parish Registers as I have only some questionable information from the FreeReg website. The originals are stored at the Somerset Record Office, Taunton which is too far distant for me to visit in person. If anyone would help me, I will supply the relevant details. Also, if the names below link in to another member’s family, I would be happy to exchange information.
