Default Wm. Innes & Jessie Ann T. Sim x Fraserburgh

    Hi

    Can anyone help me.

Jessie Ann Taylor Sim 1883-1953 ( grand daughter of Christian Watt of CWP fame) married a Wm. Ovenstone Innes. 1877-1937.

They had 9 children. born between 1900-1920. Help with any of them be very much appreciated. Am trying to help out a friend, and satisfy my own curiosity, as they could be distantly related to me. As Christian Watt is my 2nd cousin, 4 x removed.

Especially trying to find out a bit more abt the eldest an Annie Taylor Innes bc 1907, who married a Charles Murdoch Watt, I thought from Gamrie, but another source said there is a Charles M. Watt bc 1903 in Fraserburgh.

    Thanks

    Maureen

It would help if you gave an inkling as to where they were married

I tried a 'blind' search on ScotlandsPeople from 1895-1905 for 'All Districts' with the names and it would seem they weren't married in Scotland. I used these dates because of the year span for the births of possible children.

As regards the other children a subscription to www.scotlandspeople.org.uk would help you. You can do searches for un-named males or females using just the father's surname to begin with but restrict them to two or three years at a time.

You can look at the first return and see if any match what you want. That will then give you a district to enter for the next search ... or you could just do the same thing again.

    Hi Chiad

William & Jessie were married in the Baptist Church of Fraserburgh, 2 December 1905.

From what I have been told there were 9 children, Annie, Margaret, Jessie, William, Jane, Andrew, James, Robert, & Derek.

    Any info much appreciated.

    Maureen
