Thread: Looking for Maskill Armitage

I have just begun to complete my family tree. I have begun with me . A subject I know most about!. Got stuck when finding my G/Grandfathers family. His forename is quite unusual, its Maskill. Maskill Armitage was born in 1864/65 in Methley, (near Castleford) West Yorkshire. He is down in the 1881 census as a coal miner at the age of 14. His Father was called William, born 1838 in Normanton. William was widowed in 1870's and left with 6 children. I know nothing of either Maskill or William's wives. I know Maskill re-married when his wife died but that is all.



Any help would be appreciated.

There are two deaths on Ancestry...



1st one looks like it could be the 1st Ada's death
