Gadd, Alice Weston

b. 22 Jan 1859 Brooklyn, Kings ,New York

d. 19 May 1923 ,Little Bowden, Leichestershire, England

GRO UK Vol. 7a Pg. 19-Apr.-June Qtr.

She is buried in Market Harborough, England--I have a picture of her headstone.

- ?? unsure in which cemetery.

*She died in Little Bowden while visiting with her sister ,Fanny Sexton Gadd.

about Fanny Sexton Gadd.

b. 15 Nov 1854 , Brooklyn New York, USA--

d. 24 Dec 1926 -apparently in New York, New York, USA-- though no death was registered at New York archives--

1871- Emmigrated to Quebec Canada with mother, stepfather, Nathaniel Johnston and her siblings.

I do not know if she ever married-- there is no mention of that in all my family history records.(9 years worth)



I do not know when she left Canada and went to England. (she was in Quebec in 1901 living with her widowed mother Emeline Johnston.)

She was a school teacher in 1881 1891 1901 Quebec census.



Can find no record of her coming back to America or Canada after 1923 and before 1926.



I hope someone can help with this mystery please?
