Thread: Census records

Plse can anyone tell me, does the census records for England just go to 1901, and do we have to wait until 2012 for the next census to be published. Just wondering. Thanks you

I'm afraid we have to wait unil 2012 I heard this mentioned I'm almost certain it was on the Fraser and Fraser documentary a couple of weeks back.

You can order the 1911 census now but I believe you have to have the exact address and place etc.. Its £45 per image. Think this is the addy if you want to look..Scroll to the bottom for an on line aplication form..

Thank u Pauline and Light, think i will just wait as i am not sure of address and others things. My brick wall will have to stay up a little bit longer.

I have just got a report back from the 1911 census.

It is expensive and you have to give them a specific address, you can't do 'search's'
