Thread: Kellys from scotty rd area Liverpool

Hi there, My name is Katie and ive joined this forum to hopefully gain some information about my late granddad Robert Edward Kelly born 1922 died in 2006.

Ive searched the web and come up with nothing so far. That’s possibly due to the lack of information that I have about his family lol

All he ever told me was that was grew up in the Scotty Rd area of Liverpool and that his family were quiet big.

Maybe some of the Kellys still live in that area?? Im pretty much just clutchin at straws but it would be wonderful if anyone had any even if only a tiny amount of info I could maybe work with.

Do you know which month your grandad was born?

To find that out hunnie i would have to brave it and face my mother which i really dont want to have to do

Its a frustrating situation i know but all i can do is hope that someone will see this and have some info that will help me..

Here's a list of Robert Kelly's born circa 1922 Liverpool area. The other surname is mother's maiden name. If Robert was born at the end of the year say Dec his birth would have been registered in Jan-Mar qrt 1823. Do any of these records appear to be the one?

Yes hunnie ive just found out his mothers maiden name was McGinn! This is wonderful that your helping me so much! Im a very happy bunnie at the moment thanks to some very kind strangers



Strange thing is though I was lead to believe that he was born in Ireland then moved over to Scotland rd in Liverpool when he was a young boy but I can be sure as to how accurate that information is now.
