I am trying to find the family of my maternal grandfather whose name was Albert Geoge Gibbs. I think he was born around 1910 in Lambeth and died around 1938 in Battersea. He wasa a male nurse

If you order the birth certificate for him that will list his Mothers name (and maiden name) and his Fathers name (unless he was born illigitimate)



The certificate is a must to prove his parentage, if you have no idea who they were, GIBBS is a fairly common name and there was also another Albert George Gibbs born in the London area in 1909....so rather than go off on the wrong trail "presuming", get the cert!
