hi there , yes I have the name Michael ingoldsby who was born 1828 and christened at st john the evangelist rc in nottingham same year, his father hugh ingoldsby is mentioned and his wife margaret on the baptism record, I found hughs death cert and margarets, both within weeks of each other they died of typhus in liverpool,in 1847 their son michael was married in liverpool the same year his parents died, also in liverpool. Their occupation was mineral water manufacturers whatever that meant at the time

where I have hit a wall is when they left nottingham, where they nottingham people or irish itinerants just working there I should imagine that hugh would have been born abt1793 but dont know where, and I was wondering would there be any records in nottingham besides census that might pinpoint their location between 1828 to 1847 or prior to 1828 if they were locals to that area, sounds a bit long winded but running out of ideas any input would really be apreciated, cheers ,,,,john
