I have just received a copy of a Death Certificate but cannot read the occupation.
It looks like "a Coo?p of a Steam Vessel". Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks so much Chris, I have been studying the word and have decided that it must be "Cook" as his occupation on his marriage certificate is Baker.

Hi Val,
There is also a lot of information on AA. Just add occupation into the search engine on the links and tips forum.
You could also attach the certificate to this thread so that others can see if they can work it out.
Morning starlight, thanks for your reply. After studying the word for ages I came to the conclusion it must be " cook". To be quite honest I don't know how to put the certificate on here but will get my daughter to do so when she is here and then you can give me an opinion. So sorry if I have wasted anyone's time.
