Thread: Great-Grandmother

I just cant find a birth for my great grandmother Ann Weatherall or Weatherell. I have been told by my mother she was born in Witton-le-wear in about 1867. She married Robert Skaife in Middlesbrough March 1887. I have tried on FamilySearch.org But all I get is a census record of her living in Stockton (nr Middlesbrough) with her married uncle John D Neasham, she is down as aged 14 yrs. There are a couple of people who are tracing the Skaifes and they have also been unable to find any info for Ann. I have also looked on IGI for Witton-le-wear, but unfortunately the records only go up to 1757. Is this going to be a case of buying the marriage certificate and getting her parents from that.
