I'm not very good on war stuff All I know is that its Kew who holds the records.

I am amazed !so quick .yes he is the one , born in Heanor derbyshire 1791 . thank you so much for that.

Would 1807 - 1830 be his service years and would he have been invalided to be a chelsey (sic) out pensioner ?

now I need to find a link to my g.g.g.grandfather Horatio Nelson Barks.1807 -1844 who was born in bagthorpe but then lived in heanor .
