Thread: 1841 look up please

I'm trying to find Thomas and Ellen Rider/Ryder on the 1841 census but having no luck. Any help would be appreciated.



They are here in 1851 transcribed Rider..



1851c, HO107; Piece: 2198; Folio: 385; Page: 46..Gullet Aspull Lancashire.

Sorry! Thomas was born 1809 Coppull Wigan Lancashire, hes a Blacksmith.

They should be on the 1841c as they married in Wigan in 1831..Ellen Worthington his wife came from Worthington Standish Lancashire.

I've searched, but am sorry to say that I can't find them either. Tried various ways of spelling the surname and even leaving the surname off, and trying to find the family through their children, but no luck.



That's the problem with the 1841 census, as it doesn't show the relationships, you can't put in the name of parents or spouse like you can do with the other censuses.

I tried every combination known to man but didnt think to add an S doh!!
