Thread: 1851 or 1861 - Campbell in Ayrshire

Is there anyone with access who might be able to have a look for my Elizabeth CAMPBELL (born ca. 1797) in Ayrshire in the 1851 or 1861 census? I think that she may have been a widow by that time, but am not positive. I believe she was living in Kilmarnock, surely with one or more of her younger children. A daughter Elizabeth was born in 1841 in Lanarkshire.



The husband and father (Robert Campbell) would have been alive at the time of the 1841 census at least and I guess they would have been in Lanarkshire at that time.

The names of all known children are: Helen (ca. 1827), Margaret (1831, Stirlingshire), Jean (1833, Stirlingshire), Agnes (1839, Lanarkshire), Elizabeth (1841, Lanarkshire) & James (ca. 1845, Kilmarnock, Ayrshire). There were probably more children than this.



Any information from ANY census would be a huge help and very much appreciated!

Anyway, thank you so much for having a look and finding them in 1841 and 1851! That's definitely the family I was looking for. I wonder why the seem to not exist in 1841 though?
