Thread: James Charles Edgerton (Egerton)

I have just found out today that my nan remarried in 1950 to a James Charles Edgerton or Egerton at MacClesfield St Peter.



I just can't find a birth date for him. My nan was born 1902, her first husband John W Heathcote was born 1872-1947.

It was only via email from the MacClesfield Cemetries regarding an enquirey to my granddad's and grandma's buriel place that this info came to light. She was buried in the same plot as my grandad.

My mother told me that my nan used to have a lodger living with her I'm not even sure whether my mum knew she had remarried.

I don't think it was a long marriage because I can remember going to stay with my nan's in the late 1950's and there was only her there and her cat
