Thread: Shergold marriage in Portsmouth?

Here I go again!



I'm working (with my other hand) on my FALLS family branch and have had information from a Canadian friend regarding the husband of one Alexia (or Alexa) Falls. I believe Alexia married Walter Shergold in Canada and a search is ongoing there for that information.



The Census shows him (highlighted here in bold):

Archie Shergold.........son......4...Brisbane, Australia



I'm looking for a marriage date for George and Eliza (Elizabeth) - assuming they may have married before setting sail for Aus where their 'little ones' were born.



Any other information for them would also be appreciated.

Sorry for not answering sooner but a warm, sunny, 21 degrees in the back garden encouraged me to get the sun-loungers out.



This is a fairly remote twig on a branch but I'm following it up for an older 'cousin' and his family.

Walter Shergold was I believe my mother's father. He was married to Alexis Falls. They lived in Toronto Ontario.



Walter's parents ran a bakery in the Uk.
