Thread: John Phillips 1864

Good Morning! I'm trying to find info on my gggrandfather, John Phillips. I know he was born in Monmouthshire in 1864. He was living in Blaenavon in 1901 married to Mary Jane Challenor.I'd like to know his parents' names and if he had any siblings. Info on his children would be fantastic too!

Hiya, Not as far as I know. There are many John Phillips from Monmouth- I cant seem to narrow it down at all. I know he was based in Blaenavon during the various census and there is a match for this area but with the forename of Wrints(I think) which i've never heard of. It's a toughy!

Is this him in 1901..

If going by the information on the 1901 Census that John was born in Trelleck this is probably him with his mother, siblilngs and grandmother. Therefore his mother's maiden name would probably be Spencer.
