Hi again,



Looking for info on the family of Charles Burton Barber, the painter, who originated in Great Yarmouth. He was born in 1845 and moved to London where he died in 1894. Married 1875 in London to Mary M. Williams and had two daughters that I know of.

Hi Bazza, a possible marriage (Burton could be a red herring). There are no other marriages on free bmd between 1837 - 1851 in Norfolk between a Charles Barber & Elizabeth. I think Elizabeth may be a bit young to have married before 1837.

Thanks Star, and I think you're right - Blowers was his mother's maiden name, and I couldn't find references to the Burton family within his grandparents' (Barber, Barber, Blowers, Lake).
