Thread: Where is this place?

Can anyone tell me were Middle Lane Dolemead, Somerset is? My 3x great grandparents Daniel Fry and Sarah Skull,were married 1837 at St James Bath [extra parochial]

Their address is given as Middle Lane Dolemead. If I could find this place I might have a hope of finding Daniels father Charles on the 1841 census.[He was a butcher]

I could not find anywhere else though. Even changing the search criteria. So, my best guesse is that this is the place you are looking for.

Have a look at a later census and find out where they were both born and then tou also might find out were daniels dad is. do not forget daniel might have been working away from home

Hi BillB. Daniel is in Wiltshire in 1841 witha Peter who I think would be a brother of Charles. They say they are both born in the county but Daniels marriage certificate says he was born in Bath [He was married in Bath].

I think CHarles was probably born in Wiltshire but living in Bath [married there]. I am not sure when Charles died. Are there any Directories that would list him as a bucher?
