I've hit the wall with a couple of lads in my tree:

Richard Alexander Murdoch b. 17 Jul 1865, Dalkeith, Midlothian

1871 Census Residing at 19 High Street, Dalkeith, Edinburgh - scholar

1881 Census Residing at 19 High Street, Dalkeith, Edinburgh[/font]

Richard does not appear in the Scottish Census records for 1891 or 1901

Robert Murdoch b. 25 Sep 1867, Dalkeith, Midlothian

1871 Census Residing at 19 High Street, Dalkeith, Edinburgh

1881 Census Residing at 19 High Street, Dalkeith, Edinburgh - scholar

Robert does not appear in the Scottish Census records for 1891 or 1901



Can someone find them in 1891 and 1901 for me?

Richard and Robert were grandsons of Richard Murdoch, Dalkeith. Richard's brother James (my gg grandfather) came to Australia. I can enlighten you with more information about Richard and Robert, Dalkeith if you are still interested. 18/3/2012
