Thread: Roseannah w Boden

Can some kind soul have a look for Roseannah W Boden, born Benthall, Shropshire about 1824, found her in the 1881 living with her daughter Carolione Jones but she was a widow and I need her husbands name, tried BMD but can't find anything so maybe earlier census will have her husbands name.

Hi,

I think I've found your Roseannah in 1851, but after that she and the children disappear, until she appears again in 1881 living with Caroline!



In 1851 she is at Madeley Union Workhouse, Shropshire.



Rosannah Boden age 27 born Market Drayton, a servant

Caroline Boden age 4 born Benthall, Shropshire

William Boden age 5 born Madeley Shropshire

Edward Boden age 1 born Benthall Shropshire



Census ref. HO107 piece 1989 folio 203 page 15



Have had a quick look for a marriage but can't find one.

She may have married between 1851 and 1861, as I can't find the children in 1861 either, although obviously it's been a quick look.

Think I've got her in 1871 mistranscribed as RODEN, if it is her she's recorded as unmarried.
