Thread: James King needs a mother!

Im trying to find the mother of James King c 1824 Birchley Buckinghamshire and also the marriage of his parents please.



James King married Ann Marsh 1845 Parish Church in Kingswinford Staffs, both were minors.

The marr cert states father Thomas King brickmaker,



I think this is him on the 1841c.. HO107; Piece 998; Book: 3; Civil Parish: Sedgley; County: Staffordshire; Enumeration District: 6; Folio: 24; Page: 41; Line: 4;...Lower Gornal Sedgley.

It says born in county but I am not sure of this as James is born Buckinghamshire on all later images.



Any help would be appreciated, thanks..

Do you know where Birchley is please? I can't find any trace of it!

1871,RG10/3009 59 Summer Lane Lower Gornal... Birthplace Bucks



1881 RG11; Piece: 3780; Folio: 9; Page: 11, 56 Queen St Pemberton Wigan birthplace Sedgley Staffs...



Its looking more like he was born in Sedgley Staffordshire but I dont know how to prove it.

Not in Sedgeley I think - the records for the relevant dates are on the IGI and he isn't there

I can not find Birchley but a place called Bletchley as two THOMAS KING but there are no sons named JAMES that is off the 1841 cenus. But on the 1841 cenus there is a THOMAS KING born in 1806 in SEDGLEY STAFFORDSHIRE and as a son named JAMES KING
