Thread: Elizabeth Fulcher nee Flowerday

Hi everybody



I am trying to find the death of:-

Elizabeth Fulcher nee Flowerday

Christened 22 Mar 1816 Sutton St James, Lincolnshire

Married Daniel Fulcher 24 Jun 1835 Holbeach, Lincolnshire

Had at least 9 children who can be accounted for between '36 and '56

Stated she was born Fleet or Holbeach in censuses.

They are together in Boston Rd Holbeach in 1871 Census

Daniel is a widower in Pear Tree Rd Holbeach in 1881 Census



Nothing in BMDs, even using Elizabeth and Lincolnshire as wildcards... nothing remotely like Fulcher!!



Any ideas would be gratefully accepted!!

After all, she was always Elizabeth in the census, so I thought she would go by any other name. (Her daughter chr Frances but always known as Fanny!!)

I have here death/burial down as between Jan-Mar 1880 in Holbeach, Lincolnshire, England. hope this helps?

I am also looking for info on both Elizabeth and particularly her husband Daniel Fulcher. My wife was born Fulcher but has no contact with any other members of the family so would love to know more.Her grandparents were Samuel Fulcher and Amy Johns,but she never met them.

There are some records pertaining to a Daniel Fulcher on the Lincolnshire website,the age doesnt quite match but it does suggest he was a criminal who was twice subject to transportation to Bermuda and Gibraltar.

His birth doesnt appear on the birth registers available online,I wonder if anyone has knowledge from the Lincoln archives which have the parish registers but they arent online.

My Grandparents were also Samuel & Elsie Amy Fulcher, my mother is Avril Nina Amy Fulcher

My wifes father is walter Harry Everett,prefers to be called Wally.He wont talk about the family at all.He says the family tree starts with him.My wife and I would love to know more as she feels she has missed out on so much.
