Thread: Did Silas Bravery ever marry?

Been trying to find a marriage for Silas William Bravery b. 1898 Croydon, Surrey, died 1980 Portsmouth, last address on death cert. was in Liss, Hampshire, trawled through BMD but no luck. Is there another way I may be able to find out If he ever did marry. Any help most welcome.

There is a possible match with a tree on Ancestry which you may have seen. Elizabeth Ann Shoyer 1865 Pimlico-1948 Petersfield Hampshire. Elizabeth appears to have been married before (Child - Rose Young). There is not a lot of information and there may be mistakes in the tree, but this info might help someone try to find a marriage.

Yes have seen the SHOYER connection and been in touch with the tree owner some time ago, it seems that Elizabeth SHOYER had some part to play in the upbringing of young Silas after his grandparents past away, his mother Catherine Bravery nee Hawkins died at the birth of Silas, His Father (my grandfather) Thomas William Bravery seems to have had no more contact with Silas, I know Silas was in the FIRST WORLD WAR, But cannot trace him between then and his death.
