Hi all,

I have a Robert Rogers, born 1833, Llandeggla, Wales. I have him in 1841 with parents and 1851 working in Wales. He marries one Mary Hocking in 1856 in Devon. Their first born [son] was born in Devon, second born [daughter] was born in Stirling, Scotland. The census for 1861 shows his wife and children back in Devon with her parents - no mention of Robert. Can't find Robert or wife Mary in 1871 census [children are staying with paternal g.parent and uncle in Wales.

Trouble is I can't find any death or anything for Robert or Mary. I have the marriage certificate for his daughter married 1884 and she states her father Robert as being a gardener [it doesn't say deceased].

Can someone point me in the right [or any] direction as to how I can find what happened to Robert/Mary??
