Hey, posting this to avoid confusion on my other recent Hunn thread...



Looking for info on the descendants of Charles Hunn & Harriet (m.n. ???). Their children are as follows:

- Charles (1829, Lingwood - 1906, Gt Yarmouth) m. 1858 Phoebe Wray, m. 1893 Louisa Gissing

- Martha (1830, Lingwood - ) m. 1851 John Horner

- Hannah (1836, Lingwood - ) m. 1859 Charles Simkins

- Harriet (1841, Hemblington - ) m. 1867 James Trett

- Jane (1844, Hemblington - ) m. 1865 Robert Everitt

- Robert (1847, Blofield - ) m. 1869 Jane Howes

Chris, I haven't personally had contact with Hazel, but I know a lot of the info I have came from her (through Liz - i think)...

When John Hunn who wed Lydia 1711 proven that Francis was his first wife? or not we then connect too on my Fathers side [ hunn ] too

I don't think John's first wife would have been Frances (Read? of Thorpe). As this John later married Anne Goate and died in 1721, and Anne in 1724.



Whereas our John (m. Lydia Warner) died in 1735 and Lydia in 1729.

I think (and only speculation) that our John married Martha Barliclow first on 17 Oct 1697 in Beighton - as Beighton is not that far from Acle I thought this very possible. John & Martha had six children in Beighton then a seventh in Acle in 1707. As John remarried in 1711, as widow, Martha would have died in the 1707-11 timeframe, but I haven't been able to locate substantial records to prove this.

I don't know whether you've had (or will have) any luck on this front, as it's hard for me to access the records.

Correct i have searched PR at records office also their was a John and Mary at Beighton also a John Hun married at Southwood to a Bridget



I need to go to Norwich to check Beighton , Southwood .
