margaret mary ann harvey married frederick key 1861 norwich

Harvey - born about 1843, Norwich, Norfolk

Tappin - born about 1865, Islington or Brighton, I think its likely to

be Islington as thats where husband lived, only guessing!

I've managed to follow Frederick Key and children through to 1901 starting with his father from 1841.

Not much info on Ellen Tappin,

born about 1865, Islington or possibly Brighton,

appears on 1881 census, aged 16, Woolwich.

married 1882.

Don't panic, it hasn't flown away. I want to check for her birth again. There is another Margaret Harvey living with step-parents in Norfolk, her date of birth nearer to the one you have just given. Neither of them were born exactly in Norwich.

Hi Dave, the 1881 census has Ellen born in Brighton, therefore this is probably her in 1871. The Tappen family are lodging with the Ward's.

The one born in Dec quarter 1842 was Margaret Harriet Harvey, so it looks more promising that the first one I had was the correct one. I will just check the images for any more, and if no more are on there I'll put back the information.
