Thread: 1841 census lookup please Essex or Kent

I would appreciate a lookup for John Prendergrass born 1823 Harwich to see if he is with family then. His father was also a John Prendergrass who was like John junior a fisherman. John junior married in 1845 in Higham, Nr Gravesend Kent so he could be in either place in 1841

I could only find 3 John Prendergrass', 2 born Ireland and in the army. Another in Durham born out of county but with the wrong father.

The name has probably been mistranscribed.

many thanks for your reply. Could I just ask if your info is for Kent or Essex or both and would I be pushing my luck for the search to be done for Pendergrass as that is how it was later spelt in the family.
